BANGKOK: The freight monitor on Page 1 has a Thai predecessor: GIZ's IMPROVE project, the Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning and the Office of Industrial Economics launched the Thai Fuel Efficiency Data Portal at a Bangkok seminar in July 2025. It integrates Department of Land Transport and OIE data to give policymakers emissions insights by vehicle type and model, with customisable dashboards and agency-specific access for the light-duty fleet - part of the same data-driven turn in Asian transport policy.
