ADDIS ABABA: The Green Climate Fund and Korea's KOICA signed a $47-million agreement on September 17 - $25 million from GCF, $22 million in KOICA co-financing - to cut flood and heat risk in Addis Ababa and Jimma by restoring forests, wetlands and river corridors. It is KOICA's first GCF project.
