ULAANBAATAR: At the UNCCD COP17 Mayors' Forum in Mongolia, local and regional leaders adopted the Ulaanbaatar Declaration on sustainable land management and drought resilience. UN-Habitat used the forum to press integrated approaches linking adequate housing, land and urban climate adaptation - a sign of how firmly land degradation has arrived on the urban agenda.
