DHAKA: The Asian Development Bank has approved a $100 million concessional loan for the Inclusive Affordable Housing Finance Project, channelling long-term, collateral-free microloans through the Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation and partner microfinance institutions. The financing targets low- and middle-income households - particularly women - for construction, repair and upgrading of homes, treating incremental self-build as the asset class it has always been.
